This funny kid was officially a "Sunbeam" today. He wore his little suit from Malachi (his cousin...incidentally it's the suit I bought for my nephew who is now 8 years old when Evan and I got married) and looked very handsome. He was so excited to be what he called a "Sunbeam Missionary." In fact when he was all dressed this morning he ran up to Evan and very excitedly said, "Daddy! I look like a nissiomary!" So cute.
When I dropped him off in Primary he sat right down by two of his little buddies and they sat there on the front row with these huge grins on their faces holding hands. It was seriously one of the cutest things I have ever seen.
He had so much fun today in primary and I milked the "Sunbeam Missionary" thing for all it was worth. He bowed his head and folded his arms during the prayers in Sacrament Meeting today because I told him that's what Sunbeams do. He thought he could pass the sacrament today because he was now a Sunbeam. I had to tell him "not yet." He also asked if he could go up and talk in the microphone now. Again, I told him "not yet." Too funny.
He wouldn't take his suit off the entire day because he was a "sunbeam missionary" and missionaries leave their suits on all day. He wanted to sleep in it and I had to break it to him that missionaries take their suits off and put jammies on when they go to bed too. When I finally got him to take the suit off tonight he told me, "I was a good sunbeam missionary today." He sure was. Priceless and so cute!
I hope he always wants to be a missionary! :-)

That is adorable! Wow a sunbeam already. They grow up so fast. Love the pictures and the stories. I especially love that all the little boys who graduated together sat by each other. =)
Okay...next time I may sneak my camera into primary in hopes that those three will recreate the holding hands moment. So cute! I love your little sunbeam missionary!
this is just too cute! how priceless and precious are little sunbeams? I already know I'm going to tear up when Paige sings in her first primary program. There is just nothing sweeter than little sunbeams, excited about life! Sam is adorable!
I am so glad he loved Primary (and clearly he did). He's such a sweetheart, and makes a great missionary.

So Cute! Tanner just started CTR 4's and wore his CTR ring home from church Sunday. Then he wore his ring to school Monday and was so proud! Isn't it fun to see them JUST LOVE church??? I'm amazed at how much Tanner loves his scriptures and everything. Sounds like Sam is the same. Don't you just wish you could make time stand still or make his ALWAYS LOVE church like that?? Just pray it never changes!

How heartwarming! You'll have to show these pictures at his mission farewell. How I wish Marie were a Sunbeam with Sam! She is the only Sunbeam in our ward. In fact, the only other primary children are two Russian boys a few years older than her who don't speak English. Oh well. It sure is fun to be able to keep up with these growing kids via blogs!
Sam is a crack-up and that story is precious. He is the cutest sunbeam missionary I have ever met.

That is so stinkin' cute! Brooklyn had a great first Sunday and then the second Sunday discovered Josh was in the room with her. She wanted to turn and giggle and watch him the whole time.
